Content Summary

Join us as we navigate 'An Introduction to Understanding Child Sexual Abuse' from our facilitator Emma Swan and lived experience insights from Jeremy Indika, Founder of Something to Say.

We will consider how you support those with lived experience of child sexual abuse with compassion and a trauma-informed approach.

We will also focus on considerations for your own self-care, with personal and professional reflective practice. We consider these topics both for your protection and to enhance the delivery of your role, to offer protection to your welfare and that of the people you meet through your work.

Please be aware that this course serves as a reflective space, to learn and grow your practice. Due to the nature of the topic, and the breadth of detail that could be explored - we offer additional half, full, and 2 day workshops to progress your practice.

We advise navigating the course in chronological order to gain the best context. However, should you choose to navigate away from the order set out, please do ensure you prioritise listening to the module on self-care and signposting.

Thank you.
